Hello! I'm Tay, the creative behind 'Longing For Land' with too many different art related hobbies and a passion for country people.
I entered the rural landscape about 9 years ago, being from the coast of Perth originally, and fell in love with the work & the company. I was determined to create a life amongst the golden afternoons & easy chat and reflect the way I see these communities into art.
My photography, original art and the Rural Rug is a result of that and I'm still learning more ways. Come along :)

When I'm not painting or capturing images, I'm hunting FB marketplace for vintage bargains I can upcycle or going to the local tip shop to find goodies for my garden at the Cottage.

My fiance and I live in a 170 year old cottage and I love filling it with worn furniture, mismatched glass wear, old framed treasures and plants. Lots of plants. I 'm obsessed with heritage architecture and do local real estate photography which inspires my home decor and cottage garden.
